The Slaying With Asa Podcast is popular for delivering entertainment and celebrity news, and this time it’s no exception as we welcome Mr JazziQ to the studio.
If you are an Amapiano fan, Mr JazziQ needs no introduction. But for those of us who are not as familiar with Amapiano, we might need a little introduction to this DJ who’s making waves with his music.
Tumelo Manyoni, professionally recognised as Mr JazziQ, is a South African DJ and music producer in the Amapiano genre and is signed under the Black is Brown Ent record label.
He gained prominence as a former part of the Amapiano DJ pair, JazziDisciples.
Mr JazziQ, born in 1995 and originating from the township of Alexandra, was initially exposed to music by his father and uncle, who had close connections with renowned musicians such as Oskido and Black Coffee.

After parting ways with JazziDisciples and going solo, Mr JazziQ did not slow down.
He created Amapiano songs that got lots of people dancing, and he’s still a big hit today.
Some of his popular songs include Bolaya, Johnny ke Johnny, Ulazi, Amaneighbour, Awuyebo, Halala, and VSOP.
As we highlight Mr JazziQ’s ability to get crowds moving, this talented artist has more surprises up his sleeve.
He recently established his own restaurant and nightclub called Vibes on Main, located in Wynberg, Sandton, Joburg. The restaurant was unveiled on 15 June.
