Yes, we are still talking about DJ Fresh and Euphonik nearly a month after allegations of a rape incident in 2011.

The actions by the DJs, particularly this week by Euphonik, have continued to draw attention to the case. Twitter was a firestorm after Euphonik shared a screenshot of a purported WhatsApp message supposedly from Nampree apologising and “confessing” the rape accusation was a lie.

Rapper Boitumelo Thulo was commended by social media users after calling out Euphonik due to his actions of sharing what many said was a fake message purporting to be from his rape accuser.

In the message, she supposedly apologises for the accusations: “…I don’t know what to do because I’m scared I’m going to be arrested. Journalists are calling me every day. Please forgive me…”

Initially sticking to his guns that the message was authentic, Euphonik later deleted it after growing outrage.
