The website Viralbru has shared a video of two taxis in a terrible accident. It was captured on a dashcam.
It’s unknown when this took place, but it is a sober reminder of the daily reality of carnage on South Africa’s roads. The taxi that comes swerving out of nowhere on the left side of the road clearly tries to pass on the wrong side, losing control on the gravel verge before careening nearly sideways into the oncoming lane.
There was little that the oncoming taxi could do.
