Toyota, Ford to resume championship fight in KZN

Topping the Production Vehicle entry list will be the Castrol Toyota Hilux V8 bakkies of Anthony Taylor/Dennis Murphy and Leeroy Poulter/ Rob Howie.

Their closest challengers should be the Atlas Copco Ford Ranger V8 entries of Manfred Schroder/Japie Badenhorst and Gary Bertholdt/Siegfried Rousseau.

Privateers that could take on the factory teams should include Kobus van Tonder/Freddie Kriel (Uni Freight Ford Ranger), Johan van Staden/Mike Lawrenson (Atlas Copco Nissan Navara), Jason Venter/Vincent van Alleman (4×4 Mega World Toyota Hilux), Hennie de Klerk/Johann Smalberger (RFS BMW X3), Richard Fuller/Gary Austin (RSC Auto BMW X3) and Sarel van Biljon/Phillip Herselman (Atlas Copco Toyota Hilux).

Class S should see a variety of front runners, including Luke Botha/Andre Vermeulen (Force Fuel Toyota Hilux), Piet Kotze/Salomon Victor (Toyota Hilux), Archie Rutherford/Gerhard Schutte (Regent Nissan Navara), Deon Venter/Ian Palmer (4×4 Mega World Toyota Hilux) and Heine Strumpher/Henri Hugo (Toyota Hilux).

Doug Fear Kurt de Villiers (Brytons Removals Toyota Hilux) will do battle with veterans Henri Zermatten and Johan Gerber (Ford Ranger) in Class E.

Race headquarters, the start/finish and the designated service park will all be located at the Weston Agricultural College on the outskirts of Mooi River. Public access to these areas and viewing points along the route is free of charge, with spectator guides available at race headquarters.

The qualifying race to determine race grid positions will start at 11.30am on Friday and the race at 8.30am on Saturday.
