‘Plus’ specced Volkswagen T6 added to Kombi range

Volkswagen has revised its stalwart T6 range with the inclusion of a new Trendline Plus derivative on the Kombi line-up only.

Effectively a replacement for the 103 kW Comfortline model available until now, the Trendline Plus slots-in below the flagship 2.0 BiTDI Comfortline, but comes with said oil-burner delivering 340 Nm, as well as the bi-turbo’s twin-blown motor that produces 132kW/400Nm. Both are however hooked to a seven-speed DSG ‘box.

Riding as standard on 17-inch Devonport alloy wheels and available only in short wheelbase bodystyle, standard equipment on the Plus consists of the 6.5-inch Composition Media infotainment system, six-speaker sound system, LED headlights with dynamic cornering function, front and rear parking sensors with a reverse camera, cruise control, Post-Collision Braking and Driver Alert.

From the options list, buyers can add folding electric mirrors, the Comfort Package, Light & Sight Pack, carpeted floor, armrest for the front passenger seat, faux leather upholstery and side as well as curtain airbags.

As with the rest of the Kombi range, the Trendline Plus comes standard with a three year/120 000 km warranty and a five year/60 000 km Maintenance Plan.
