Nissan issues safety recall due to airbag defect

Nissan has issued a safety recall due to an airbag defect in its vehicles produced between 2001 and 2013.

The statement on Nissan’s Facebook page reads:

At Nissan, our customer safety has always been our first priority.

This is why we’re proactively replacing the airbags of Nissan vehicles manufactured between 2001 – 2013 due to an airbag defect affecting major motor manufacturers worldwide.
