Nissan is proud to sponsor Miss SA for a third year

Nissan SA is proud to sponsor the 2018 Miss South Africa pageant with a brand new “city-proof” Nissan Qashqai 1.5DCi Tekna for this year’s winner, Tamaryn Green who has now received her stunning new crossover vehicle.

.

“We are excited to support such a worthwhile initiative because we know that the Miss SA pageant provides a wonderful opportunity for young women to make a positive difference in South Africa,” said Xavier Gobille, Nissan Africa Marketing and Sales MD.

“Nissan would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the new winner, Tamaryn Green. The all-new Nissan Qashqai is the perfect crossover for any ambitious person who has a taste for the finer things in life. It’s a premium, all-round vehicle with a new design that’s almost as beautiful as Miss SA,” said Gobille.

Since the first Nissan Qashqai was launched in 2007, 2.3-million units have been sold globally.

The wide-ranging changes to the upgraded model are based on customer feedback and industry insights, and are designed to establish new levels of luxury in the mid-sized crossover segment.

The city-proof Qashqai’s improvements focus on the addition of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) technology, higher levels of interior quality, improved performance and a contemporary exterior design.

Nissan has been introducing its highly innovative NIM technologies to vehicles currently available in SA. The Patrol and X-Trail, which were launched last year, have several NIM features, and the new Qashqai benefits from these technologies too.

,

The new Nissan Qashqai has a five-star Euro NCAP Safety Rating and is backed up by Nissan Assured with a class-leading 6-year/150,000km warranty, and a comprehensive 3-year/90,000km service plan.
