Nissan starts teasing new Juke ahead of September reveal

Nissan has officially kicked-off its teaser campaign for the all-new Juke by not only showing part of its styling, but also the confirmed international launch date.

Showing only the slim new LED headlight as part of the controversial two-piece design, the image in question also reveals a satin silver surround finish for the V-shape grille similar to those of the X-Trail and Qashqai, while the bottom light cluster gains a new pattern with what appears to be a full-LED backlight.

Although nothing else is known, previous reports have claimed that the Juke will move from the current V-platform to the CMF-B that underpins the new Renault Captur and Clio, while motivation could come from the same range of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. Also expected is the 1.6-litre E-Tech plug-in hybrid motor that will offer an electric-only range of 32 km.

According to reports, the Juke will make its debut on 3 September before going on sale next year, though chances are that more details regarding its looks, tech and mechanics will become known in the coming weeks and months.
