With the wraps having come off of the facelift F-Pace SVR this week, Jaguar has made more revisions to its local line-up, this time to the XF with the addition of a black styling pack.
Based on the R-Dynamic SE models of the D200 and P250, the black pack comprises 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, a panoramic sunroof and, as indicated by its name, gloss black applique on the door sills, window surrounds, badges, wing vents, grille and mirror caps.
Inside, a satin charcoal ash wood veneer adorns the facia with the only other change being a 30 as opposed to the previous 10 colour ambient lighting package.

Like the rest of the XF range, the Black comes standard with the upgraded 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system with over-the-air updates, Active Road Noise Cancellation technology, the PM2.5 filtration system for the climate control and an optional wireless smartphone charger.
Up front, the XF’s drivetrain options remain unchanged with the 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium petrol in the P250 producing 184kW/365Nm and the same displacement turbodiesel in the D200 147kW/430Nm.
Although not offered with the black pack, the range-topping P300 R-Dynamic HSE, the sole model to offer all-wheel drive, continues as is with outputs of 221kW/400Nm from its 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine. Like its siblings, the only transmission offered is an eight-speed automatic.
A five year/100 000 km warranty and service plan is once again standard on all XF models.
