All-new Ford Figos are here

Ford is set to redefine the sub-B compact car segment with the launch of the all-new Figo.

Offering trendsetting technologies, smart design and outstanding levels of space and comfort, the new Figo Hatch and Sedan raise the bar in the compact car class while retaining this popular model’s established reputation for exceptional value and efficiency. The sophisticated and stylish exterior of the Figo is matched by a modern interior that delivers an extraordinary experience for a compact car. Intelligent and careful space management creates a surprisingly roomy cabin emphasising quality, comfort and convenience.

High levels of craftsmanship are evident throughout the cabin, with colours and materials carefully selected by Ford designers to create a refined and premium environment. Ample legroom gives the front passenger space to stretch out, while enabling even taller drivers to achieve the ideal driving position.

Reflecting the growing need for consumers to stay connected at all times, the car features exceptional smart technologies that help customers integrate their car more easily into their digital lives. MyFord Dock – a first-in-class feature standard in Ambiente and Trend spec vehicles – offers drivers a unique solution for storing, mounting and charging mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation systems and for integrating these devices into the car’s entertainment system. When not in use, the dock can be closed out of sight.

Consumers seeking even greater technological integration will benefit from the fitment of SYNC – Ford’s advanced in-car connectivity system – as standard equipment on the Figo Titanium. On the Ambiente and Trend models, a standard four-speaker audio system is provided that includes a radio/CD unit with MP3-compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, as well as USB and Aux inputs. The Titanium further gains remote audio controls on the steering wheel.

To encourage responsible driving, the new Figo Titanium features Ford’s MyKey functionality. With MyKey, Figo owners can set sensible restrictions for drivers with less experience. For instance, they can activate a maximum speed limit or a persistent seatbelt minder that mutes the audio system volume and continues to play a chime until front seat occupants fasten their seatbelts.

Designed from the ground up to protect occupants in the event of a collision, the car features a robust passenger cage created from high-strength steel, bolstered by standard driver and passenger airbags throughout the range and an impressive six airbags – including side and curtain airbags – for an outstanding level of protection.

All models are equipped with ABS brakes, while the Figo Titanium PowerShift Auto incorporates electronic stability programme (ESP) with hill launch assist that holds the vehicle for up to three seconds as the driver’s foot moves from the brake to the accelerator.
