Towards the end of last week, the new Volkswagen Kombi officially showed its face in a teaser campaign of the seventh generation Transporter. The first completely new T-series model in almost 18 years, the T7 debuts a number of model firsts such as a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and sole availability of an automatic transmission courtesy of a shift-by-wire button arrangement.
