If you’ve been waiting for your ship to come in, today might be your lucky day. SA lotto operator Ithuba confirmed a total of R134 million is up for grabs in the Powerball jackpot.

R134 million in Powerball jackpots tonight
The PowerBall jackpot is R40 million, while the PowerBall Plus jackpot stands at a whopping R94 million; but only if you bought a ticket.
The draw takes place at 21:00. Players must be 18 years or older to play. Play responsibly.
Unclaimed Lotto jackpots
South Africa’s national lottery operator, Ithuba Holdings, urged players to check their tickets after each draw and claim the prize before the ticket expires.
Ithuba also congratulated the latest multi-millionaire “who bagged the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot of R7 million in draw number 2218 on Wednesday, 6 April 2022.
“The ticket was played in Upington with a wager of R30, and the player is encouraged to visit their nearest Ithuba office to claim their winnings,” said CEO Charmaine Mabuza.

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza says they are “waiting in anticipation to see who will win” the jackpot.
“It’s always interesting to observe the nature of hope among our players, who take the chance of possibly next in line to become a multi-millionaire,” said Mabuza.

East London jackpot winner
Back in March, an East London man came forward to claim the R2.2 million Lotto jackpot.
The winning ticket came from the Lotto jackpot draw number 2210 with a wager of R50 via the manual selection.
The man found out about his plus R 2.2 million winnings via the internet while at work.
