The hashtag, #BlackHogwarts, brings a bit of colour into the world created by J.K. Rowling.
In a nutshell, the trend is combining Black Twitter – a cultural identity focusing on issues of interest in the black community – with the famous Harry Potter series.
The trend is imagining what African American superstars would be like if they were teachers and students at Hogwarts, and has even gone so far as to nominate former US president Barack Obama as Hogwarts principal Albus Dumbledore, and current US President Donald Trump as Voldemort.

South Africans even weighed in on the conversation, saying that Afrikaans would probably be parseltongue.
