Generations welcomes back Seputla
Generations fan favourite Seputla Sebogodi is set to return to the popular local soapie.
FILE PICTURE: Sophie Ndaba stirred up local Generations fans by tweeting this image on the set to announce the return of Seputla Sebogodi. “We welcome back@NAMBITHA and Seputla! Sooo Blessed to work with such talent!”
Sophie Ndaba spilt the beans when she tweeted a picture of Sebogadi on set with the rest of the cast:
The actor, known for his popular character Kenneth Mashaba, will be joining other fan favourite Nambitha Mpumlwana who has also returned to the local soap. In 2012 after leaving the show he had spent six years working on, Sebogadi told Drum Magazine that he felt he had wasted a lot of time working on the soapie, but was doing better than ever.
While it is unknown what prompted this change of heart, the news was greeted with excitement by Generations fans.
I wish to thank Sebogodi Seputla a.k.a Kenneth Mashaba for his return to Generations, it feels like I’d watch everyday now.
Others thought his return showed that Generations’ producer Mfundi Vundla was desperate to boost the shows ratings:
