WATCH: Limpopo’s Indlovu Youth Choir receives standing ovation at ‘America’s Got Talent’

The group has been receiving congratulatory messages from proud South Africans.

A youth choir from Limpopo received a standing ovation from the judges at America’s Got Talent on Tuesday, and has received congratulatory messages from South Africans.

The choir wowed the judges with Vicky Sampson’s African Dream.

Judge Gabriella Union-Wade said the group did not disappoint.

“From the second you walked out here, this place was routing for you and you did not disappoint. You showcased the beauty that you represent,” she said.

Simon Cowell also said: “We’ve always been waiting for a choir like this, something we’ve never heard before your energy was just literally bouncing off me right there. That was a great audition and you, I’m gonna remember. Well done.”

Apart from their beautiful voices, their colourful outfits and ability to “transport people” to where they were from were reasons they received a standing ovation.
