Manaka Ranaka in fatal accident
It has been reported that Manaka Ranaka was involved in an accident which has left a schoolgirl dead
According to various reports the incident occurred on Friday in Johannesburg.
The victim was an 18-year-old schoolgirl, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sowetan reported that the girl, Millicent Mbonani, was on her way to visit friends. She was crossing the road when she was hit by Manaka.
The case has been reported to the SAPS.
Ranaka, who currently plays Lucy in Generations – The Legacy, has starred in various television shows including Zabalaza and Rhythm City.
Fans have taken to Twitter to show their support for both Ranaka and Mobonani.
“The #ManakaRanaka incident has just left me paralysed with shock..Can’t imagine what she’s & the family of the lost teen are going through,” wrote one user.
