Former Generations star passes away
'Generations' actress Bayo Jwayi has passed away at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg after a short illness.

The 41-year-old star was a regular face on South African screens and prior to taking up the role of Senzo and Noluntu’s son’s nurse, Veronica, she had also had roles in ‘Soul City’, ‘Zero Tolerance’ and ‘Scandal!’.
Speaking to The Daily Sun, actress and friend Tina Mnumzana confirmed Jwayi’s death. “We are holding Bayo’s memorial service at the Market Theatre,” she said.
Jwayi’s brother, Khuzi added: “My sister was very disciplined and loved life. She loved children and adopted five-month-old Nhlanhla.
“Bayo was a natural speaker whom we expected a lot from.”
Jwayi had been admitted to hospital at the start of the week with reported low blood pressure.
