Celebrity news you might have missed this week from DJ Zinhle revealing how far along she is with her pregnancy to DJ Kent leaving 5fm and DJ Sbu apologising to the SABC.


DJ Kent leaves 5FM

The renowned DJ Kent has resigned from 5FM. The DJ posted on his social media that he will be leaving the station. He thanked the station and his loyal supporters for the support and opportunity. He also thanked his fans for listening to the show. DJ Kent, besides doing radio is a professional DJ who has worked with the likes of The Arrows, DJ Fresh, Euphonik and Black Coffee.

Best be known that Kent kept a lot of listeners dancing for 30 minutes everyday and tributes have been pouring in since he announced his resignation. This is what some of his listeners had to say about his departure.

DJ Zinhle  and AKA share more baby bump glory

DJ Zinhle and her boyfriend, AKA, have shared more baby bump pictures on their social media. This comes after Zinhle instagrammed a picture of how far along she is with her pregnancy. She is 23 weeks and counting. The proud mommy and daddy to be are clearly looking forward to their bundle of joy. Let’s not forget that this couple were initially private about being an item before announcing their pregnancy.

DJ Sbu apologises to SABC

The astute businessman, suspended Metro FM radio host, record label owner and musician has eaten humble pie with the SABC. DJ Sbu held a press conference on Wednesday to publicly apologise to the SABC for promoting his new business adventure, Mofaya (an energy drink) at the Metro FM awards last month. The speech in which Sbu read from explained who he is and his current projects.
