Trevor Noah to present at the Oscars

The comedian is one of two South Africans set to grace this year's Oscar stage.

The producers of the 91st Academy Awards have announced that South Africa’s Trevor Noah will join Barbara Streisand, Serena Williams, Dana Carvey, Queen Latifah, Diego Luna, Mike Myers and others onstage on Oscar night to introduce the eight Best Picture nominees during the ceremony.

Noah is the second South African who will be represented on the stage this year, with Charlize Theron also set to be a presenter at the glittering event, which will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The Oscars will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide and will be broadcast on M-Net Movies Premiere (DStv 104) from 3am on Monday morning, February 25, with a delayed broadcast later on the same day on M-Net (DStv 101) at 9pm.
