DJ Shimza says his Mercedes AMG G63 was stolen from his garage

The criminals apparently targetted his house because the DJ was out of the country.

DJ Shimza took to social media on Monday to ask South Africans help him find his black Mercedes-AMG G63 which he said was stolen from his garage. His car was stolen when he was performing in Portugal.

“My car has been stolen out of my garage from Blue Valley Golf Estates in Centurion, license plate FN 23 MB GP, please contact @sapoliceservice or call 073 256 8494 should you have any information that may lead to the recovery of the car,” he said on Twitter.

Though South Africans have been retweeting and sharing the information, others could not help but suspect the theft could have been an inside job.

TV personality Kuli Roberts wrote: “I’m sorry babe. No man. I’m disgusted by the thieves who are clearly mates with your security guards as that place has a facade of great security and alert personnel. Sorry bhuti, it will be found. Glad you safe.”
