Get to know the Miss SA 2018 top 12 finalists

Here’s a look at the ladies who will be vying for the Miss South Africa crown.

Miss South Africa officials have announced the names of the women who will compete for the coveted title on May 29 2018.

The top 12 were revealed in Pretoria on Thursday. Gauteng is leading the group with the most finalists.

Miss SA is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2018 and has made a few changes to the pageant. The women who are the last two standing will both get to represent South Africa at an international pageant.

One of the top finalists will be crowned Miss World South Africa, and the other Miss Universe South Africa. But only one woman will be 2018’s reigning Miss South Africa after being asked a final question.

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters won the Miss SA title in 2017 and went on to claim the Miss Universe crown. Adè van Heerden was promoted from first princess to Miss SA after Demi-Leigh was named Miss Universe.
