Pearl Thusi and Robert Marawa back on?

Is this picture proof that Pearl Thusi and Robert Marawa have rekindled their romance?

Pearl Thusi has her followers buzzing after sharing a picture of herself wearing what appears to be the engagement ring Robert Marawa gave her.

“A Blue Monday… Have a great week kids,” she tweeted.

Her followers zoomed in on the diamond ring on her ring finger, leading some to speculate whether Robert and Pearl were back on.

Robert shocked their fans in August 2017 when he confirmed they were no longer together.

Despite being a private couple, they seemed madly in love, and the pair were even engaged. Pearl confirmed the engagement during an interview with online publication ‘Hello Beautiful’.

But things turned sour between the lovebirds very fast.

Weeks after confirming their breakup, Robert threw some major shade at Pearl by praising her nemeses, Bonang Matheba, in a very public way.

“There’s no such in ur field right now…maybe in the year 2068!! Go. Collect. Go Home. Simple,” he tweeted shortly before the inaugural DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards in August last year.

Social media users accused Robert of being bitter, saying he disrespected Pearl by implying that the presenter and actress was not on Queen B’s level.

Pearl, whose disdain for Bonang is no secret, ignored Robert’s tweet – until three months later when she threw some shade of her own.

“2069 is upon us…” Pearl tweeted after news broke that she would be starring in an international movie called Scorpion King.

The picture could just be from an old photoshoot, but Pearl’s fans think it means something more.

After all this drama, could these former lovebirds be reigniting an old flame?
