Cassper Nyovest and Boity in Twitter tiff

Boity and Cassper Nyovest might have a reputation for being the “coolest” exes in South Africa, but things nearly heated up quickly when the two exchanged words on Twitter.
Ironically, their exchange began with Cassper Nyovest complaining about the kinds of characters (no pun intended) that Twitter seems to create. He labelled the people he was referring to as “monsters” when he wrote:
“I read some tweets and I’m just saddened by the type of monsters we have become because of this app. We lack compassion.”
Boity, who is infectiously positive on Twitter, politely disagreed with her ex-boyfriend: “This app does not create monsters. It exposes them.”
The back-and-forth continued:
While we all waited for updates, Cassper stayed true to his word and took up the conversation with Boity online. He returned to Twitter to update us that they had settled the matter amicably (and of course he threw a little shade).
