Rachel and Siya Kolisi welcome baby girl

Rugby star Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel can’t contain their excitement over the new addition to their family.

Rachel gave birth to the couple’s second child together a few days ago. Siya posted a picture on Saturday of Rachel in hospital with the caption, “I’m grateful”.

Rachel took to Instagram on Monday to share a picture of herself kissing her baby girl’s head. The image did not reveal the newborn’s face.

The couple, who are already the parents of three-year-old Nicholas, have not yet revealed their daughter’s name.

Rachel confirmed they were having a baby girl in July. “I am excited, so is my husband and my kids. We expecting a baby girl and well, I guess I am as ready as one can ever be,” she told Tshisa Live.

The Kolisi’s are now a family of six. The couple also take care of Siya’s siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, who were orphaned when their mother died in 2009.

The children spent five years at an orphanage before Siya tracked them down, and became their legal guardian.
