PICS: SA celebrities who wore the same outfit twice
Repeat wearing of an outfit is taboo in the entertainment industry, but not for these Mzansi stars.
It is easy to see why some celebrities wouldn’t dare wear the same outfit more than once. They are under a lot of pressure to look their best 24/7, and are photographed everywhere they go.
But when you are spending hundreds or thousands on an outfit, it makes sense to wear it again! ‘Regular’ people do it all the time, and nobody makes a fuss about it.
These celebs have no problem wearing the same look twice, and couldn’t be bothered with what anyone things. Their outfits were so nice they wore it twice, and sometimes three times.
Lloyd Cele
Singer Lloyd Cele raised a few eyebrows in 2015 when he wore the same outfit to two different events. That’s a major no-no in ‘Celebville’, especially considering some stars are known to change outfits multiple times at any one top award show or event.
But not Lloyd. He wore this super cool black outfit to KDAY in Cape Town, and then flew to Johannesburg hours later to attend the Metro FM Music Awards wearing the same outfit he performed in!

Bonang loved this Muse Factory dress so much, she wore it to the recent Joburg Day event as well as during her trip to LA last year.

Nomzamo Mbatha
Nomzamo Mbatha clapped back at a Twitter follower who slammed her for wearing the pink latex dress she wore in 2015 again in 2017.
“I saw her with that same dress at some after party in Durban and on a few other occasions. Sies. That time it’s latex,” he tweeted. Nomzamo told the hater to take several seats and to mind his own business.
Pearl Thusi
Pearl Thusi was busted by the social media fashion police for wearing the same bra several times. The actress showed off the beautifully embroidered bra while wearing three different outfits.
However, one Twitter follower was disgusted. “I thought this woman has money, she wears the same bra all the time,” the man tweeted. But Pearl laughed off his ridiculous comment, and even inspired the “One-Bra Challenge”.

Enhle Mbali
One month after disgusting fashion critics by wearing her wedding dress to a subsequent event, Enhle Mabli proudly wore another dress for the second time. She rocked this Gert Johan Coetzee twice. She wore it to SA Fashion Week recently, and again for a photoshoot.
“Didn’t think I would do it again? But here I am, rocking the same dress twice again!” she wrote on Instagram.
