‘I appreciate you all. I am humbled. I guess we will hit platinum in the coming few days,’ says the multi-award winner.

Dr Tumi made records of his own with The Gathering of Worshippers, as the album has officially gone gold since its release last Friday. It was also the second-fastest selling CD this year at Musica.

The Gathering of Worshippers, featuring the hit single, Speak a Word, was recorded in front of a packed Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg in August, and it’s the third album by the multi-award-winning Dr Tumi.

“All glory be to be to God. I’m in awe and thankful for the love from my fam. At a time when the economy is not doing so well and money is so tight, you continue to invest in what I offer. I appreciate you all. I am humbled. I guess we will hit platinum in the coming few days,” says Dr Tumi.

His national promo tour continues after successful stopovers in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Witbank.
