Unathi and Melanie poke fun at being single, joke about being in the ‘same Whatsapp group’
Going through a divorce can be rough, but Melanie Bala and Unathi Msengana have been able to see the lighter side of the end of their relationships.
Melanie took to Instagram to share a catch-up session she had with Unathi at an event this week.
The radio personality can be seen laughing while Unathi gives the camera some subtle side-eye.
“Our reaction when someone says #SameWhatsappGroup,” Melanie captioned the picture.
Unathi also posted a picture with Mel on her Instagram account.
“I’m gonna go with THIS okay Mellie,” she teased.
While many of their followers found their pictures and captions hilarious, some criticized the stars for making light of their divorces.
“This post make divorce fashionable,” one of Unathi’s followers commented.
Another fan added: “You guys gave me hope when it came to this love, relationships and marriage thing.”
Melanie and her husband Zwai Bala shocked their followers earlier this month when they released a joint statement announcing the end of their nine-year marriage.
While the couple kept mum on the reasons for the split, reports suggest that cheating was involved.
One week earlier, Unathi revealed that she had separated from Thomas ‘Bad Boy T’ Msengana.
Cheating was also blamed for their sudden split.
