Nasty C held at gunpoint in house robbery

Rapper Nasty C is traumatised after thieves stormed his Johannesburg home, where they tied him and four others up at gunpoint.

According to TshisaLIVE the rapper was shaken but grateful that no one was hurt in the incident. “Nobody was injured in the house robbery and everyone is just grateful that there were no injuries, because it had the potential to be much worse,” Nasty C’s close friend Pierre Ball apparently told the publication.

The thugs apparently made off with valuables including a Rolex watch, laptops, tablets and cell phones. A case of house robbery is currently being investigated by police.

“Yes, we can confirm that there were five victims in the house when two suspects got into the house and tied them up. One was armed with a gun and the other with a knife” SAPS spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said.

The news comes just weeks after singer Vusi Nova was stripped and beaten after being hijacked outside his Melville home in Johannesburg. Vusi, who was taken on a two-hour drive during which he was beaten and told to sing for the thugs, is on the road to recovery.

“The hardest part for me is driving home in the dark. The police have helped me by escorting me home and waiting till I’m safe. I thought about moving out the house, but I won’t let this break me,” he told TshisaLIVE.
