Twitter users create gloomy playlist for Itu Khune ahead of Minnie’s wedding
It seems South Africans will never forget the love story that was Itumeleng Khune and Minnie Dlamini.

Twitter users have created a sad playlist for the soccer star just days before his ex walks down the aisle.
Using the hashtag, ‘Songs for Khune’, they have put together a list of songs that they think best describe his mood for “the one that got away”.
The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper dated Minnie several years ago, but SA’s favourite couple broke up in 2014.
Before their split, rumours were swirling that he had proposed to Minnie, and was set to pay R1-million lobola.
“I did see myself marrying him‚” she said during an interview on Real Talk With Anele last year.
But Minnie found her happy ending in the arms of TV producer Quinton Jones.
The couple are set to be married in a lavish white wedding this Saturday. Their nuptials will be broadcast for a TV special called, Becoming Mrs. Jones.
While Minnie has clearly moved on, Twitter users can’t help reminding Its that it could have been him marrying South Africa’s diamond this weekend
Some of the hilarious lyrics on the ‘Songs for Khune’ playlist, include “I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited, but I couldn’t stay away, I couldn’t fight it” from Adele’s hit song, Someone Like You.
Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You and the Billy Paul classic Me and Mrs. Jones also made the cut.
