LISTEN: Amor says she isn’t fighting for Joost’s money to benefit her

Joost van der Westhuizen's family have produced a will stating Vittone is awarded a TV set in her husband's will.

Mom of two, Vittone is set to put up a fight to be awarded part of the late Springbok scrumhalf  Joost van der Westhuizen’s estate.

Initially, the first will that Vittone and her lawyer are in possession of states that she and their children get everything. However, another will – produced by the Van der Westhuizen family – states that she would be given a TV set or two and nothing else.

The wills are currently being disputed in court, with a judge having deemed the second will as invalid because it did not include a signature from Joost.

“I think people read headlines and they don’t read the story.  They don’t know it because they haven’t walked in your shoes. All I wanted was just that the kids were looked after in terms of school and their beloved hobbies,” said Vittone.

Vittone and Van der Westhuizen’s marriage was widely publicised throughout the early 2000s. The former Springbok passed away in February this year, losing his battle with motor neuron disease.
