Bucie will get royalties from Drake’s ‘Get It Together’

Bucie Nqwiliso has confirmed she will be getting royalties from the remake of her song with Black Coffee, Superman, which has been included in Drake’s latest album More Life.

Bucie, who said she was still warming up to the song, however, did not reveal how much cash she would rake in. She further told TimesLive she was honoured to have her song included in Drake’s album. It was a great achievement and said a lot about her writing skills, she said.

Drake has released his latest offering More Life and included Black Coffee’s Superman (feat. Bucie), only that he replaced her vocals with Jorja Smith, and Twitter was not impressed.

He also changed its title to Get It Together on his album, which did not seem to be a problem with them.

But how could they replace Bucie’s vocals with Jorja Smith, who, according to them, was not a better vocalist?

Some have defended the decision, saying it was his album and he could do whatever he wanted. At least he gave Bucie credit for it, they argued.
