VIA TV yesterday announced that soap star Hildegardt Whites will present her first show on the lifestyle channel.
Hilde se hartsklanke starts next week and will see the actress trying to find material for her first album on the West Coast and in the Northern Cape – which is where her roots lie.
Over 30 days she and her travel companions (who include director Jody Abrahams and her husband, Kuba Silkiewicz) will record an album alongside colourful local characters. The show is sponsored by Northern Cape Tourism, the Western Cape department of cultural affairs and Afrikaans. com.
