Shout out to singer Donald from Terrence Howard
Even Empire's Terrence Howard can’t wait for Donald’s Red MIC Xperience.

With only a few weeks to go before singer Donald kicks off his Red MIC Xperience at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena, international stars from hit TV show Empire have shown their support for the local star. Empire’s Terrence Howard (who plays Luciuos Lyons) and Jussie Smollet (who plays Jamal Lyons) sent well wishes to Donald by posting a video on social media site Instagram.
Howard starts off by saying: “For all you people out there you need to check out Donald’s DVD recording [the Red Mic Experience]”.
Terrence Howard then mentions the date of the DVD recording, August 19, and both stars sign off: “From the Lyon Empire … to Donald!”
Donald recently shared with the Citizen details of his upcoming performance: “It’s been a long time coming, and I’m certain that this is the perfect time for the show. I’ve evolved so much as an artist throughout my career, and I want to share the experience with fans that have supported me since the release of my debut album.”
Empire stars, Howard and Taraji P. Henson, were recently in South Africa on tour and saw Donald perform at an exclusive party at nightclub Harem.
Tickets for the show and live DVD recording are already available at Computicket with general access at R 200 and R150, golden circle (standing) going for R250 and VIP tickets at R350.
