“I’m very excited for what the future holds and I’m definitely up for the challenge,” Pearl says.

SABC 1’s Friday night music show, Live AMP, has confirmed that presenter Pearl Thusi is leaving the show with her final stint on Friday, 04 March.

“Pearl Thusi has been a part of Live AMP for the past 3 years. We are pleased to have played a significant role in her growth within the SABC1 family as a presenter not only for Live AMP, but other shows on the channel. She has been a marvel to work with and we wish her well in all her future projects.” – says SABC TV Network PR Manager, Zandile Nkonyeni.

On her departure from the popular music show, Thusi says, “I’m very excited for what the future holds and I’m definitely up for the challenge. I thank everyone for their continued love and support. I will miss “my family” at Live AMP and Urban Brew a lot, they have been a real force in my life and I will treasure the time spent with them. I am looking forward to working on some unbelievable projects.”

Series Producer Sjula Dlamini says, “Working with Pearl has been an absolute pleasure, losing her on the show is sad but also we’re extremely proud to have played a role in her growth within the entertainment industry. On behalf of Live AMP and Urban Brew Studios we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”
