Meet Vuzu’s new presenter
Youth entertainment channel Vuzu has gotten a new presenter and it's none other than DJ Speedsta [Lesego Nkaiseng].
The DJ joins Lalla Hirayama, Denise Zimba and Shelton Forbes.
DJ Speedsta is a hip hop DJ, born and bred in The Vaal Triangle. He decided he wanted to be a DJ in 2008 when he was still in Grade 10. Having an older brother who was already a DJ, Speedsta explains that he was a naughty child at school and through DJing, he realised that he didn’t need to do silly things to get attention.
He rose to prominence after he was crowned the winner of So You Think You Can DJ in 2010. Since then, he has been giving us hits and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the South African hip hop industry.
With all these achievements, he cites being the new face of Vuzu Amp as one of his biggest achievement to date, “I want to be a personality and a brand. I want to do more than I’m doing now; I want to do a whole bunch of things.”
When asked what he will be bringing to the table, he states, “The Vuzu Amp team encompasses different personalities. I am a reserved person but in the same token very fun and humorous and I’m the turn up guy. I also think I’m bringing charm.”
DJ Speedsta is set to make his debut on the small screen this week Wednesday, 03 February on V-Prime on Vuzu Amp after 18:00
