‘Game of Thrones’ season eight gets premiere date
One episode promises the biggest battle sequence in the history of the show.

After season seven of Game of Thrones concluded August 27, 2107, on HBO, the final chapter in the hit series now has a premiere date.
HBO has announced that season eight of the show will launch April 14 at 9pm.
Fans learned the news on Sunday, ahead of the debut episode in season three of True Detective, by means of a teaser trailer entitled Crypts of Winterfell.
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will premiere April 14, 2019, after over a year and a half off-air.
The season will comprise six episodes — one less than the previous season — but episodes could run for up to 90 minutes.
The season is directed by David Nutter, Miguel Sapochnik and by series creators, David Benioff and Dan Weiss.
