AKA says he’s still in love with DJ Zinhle
AKA says he still loves the mother of his child, but doesn't know if they'll get back together.
Will they? Won’t they? This week’s news cycle has thrown up a lot of questions for fans of AKA and DJ Zinhle about whether the pair will ever get back together.
In an interview with East Coast Radio, the rapper gave fans of the couple some hope when he confessed that he was still in love with Zinhle. When asked by East Coast Drive’s presenter Bongani Mtolo if he was still in love with Zinhle, AKA said: “Yes! That is the mother of my child, what are you talking about?”
While AKA was emphatic that he was in love, he was more circumspect about the pair’s chances of ever getting back together.
“I can’t tell the future, I’m not a psychic,” he told Mtolo.

His comments about a reunification with DJ Zinhle dovetails were her own assessment of the situation, which she put to Azani Mosake on Real Talk on SABC 3 on Tuesday.
Asked if she and AKA would ever get back together, she laughed and said: “If there’s one thing that South Africans are not short of, it’s hope.”
