From ZCC to Bushiri: Solly Moholo jumps into the arms of celebrity ‘angel of God’

Moholo also said he would join Ramaphosa's Thuma Mina campaign by 'visiting various parts of the country to spread his message'.

Gospel royalty Solly Moholo is reportedly making the jump from his Zion Christian Church (ZCC) into the arms of self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri, who he regards as an angel of God.

The crossover from ZCC reportedly comes after Moholo’s clashes with its senior leaders over his conduct and presentation at music festivals.

His membership at Bushiri’s Enlightened Christian Centre, Sunday World reports, is set to be full-time.

The tabloid further reports that Moholo will be given a big welcome by reverend Holy Joe, his church council and congregants.

The gospel star is said to be seeking Bushiri’s blessings after 15 years as a celebrated ZCC member, where he reportedly struggled with the church’s leaders over several ‘transgressions’, including the failure to stop wearing the church uniform and insistence on doing the church’s trademark dance at music festivals.

Bushiri reciprocated the enthusiasm to praise the Lord with the gospel king, saying it was true Moholo sought prayers together with him. The ‘prophet’ believes God has a lot in store for the singer, so “watch this space”.

Moholo also said he would join President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Thuma Mina campaign by “visiting various parts of the country to spread his message”.
