Riky Rick roasted for ‘scarecrow suit’
The rapper and fashionista's choice of outfit at the SAMAs this year attracted widespread social media ridicule.

Riky Rick, a rapper known for being influential when it comes to fashion, seems to have gone too far this time, with people on social media laying into him due to his decision to wear an outfit which hid his face behind a red balaclava-type headpiece and had arms resembling an outfit that a clown or scarecrow would wear.
As is often the case when a celebrity is seen to be violating the unwritten laws of the fashion police, Twitter savaged the performer, roasting him mercilessly. Popular parody account @AdvBarryRoux made reference to Skolopad, who fainted in public at the award ceremony, saying that she may have fainted on seeing Riky and thinking he was a hijacker.
Many other Twitter users posted pictures comparing the outfit to others in a bid to mock Riky, including one which pointed out the similarity between his outfit and a scarecrow suit. Others took pictures of themselves impersonating Riky by dressing up in a similar ensemble.
The rapper himself took to Twitter to express the fact that he felt unfairly judged, telling those slating him to open their minds.
Lucky for Riky, there were some who supported his daring fashion choice.
