Cassper Nyovest claps back at troll who dissed BET nomination
Cassper Nyovest responded to haters in stinging style on Twitter.
It was clapback season in Msanzi this week, and Cassper Nyovest dished the most stinging comeback of them all.
The rapper took to Twitter to celebrate being nominated for the ‘Best International Act Award’ at the 2018 BET Music Awards. Destruction Boyz was also a nominee in the category alongside stars from Nigeria, France, Dr. Congo and the UK.
“This is the biggest awards I have ever been nominated for!!! This one is for African hip hop !!!! Only African rapper on the list!!!! #BETAwards2018 (sic),” he tweeted.

While most of the Tito Mboweni hitmakers followers applauded him his BET nod, one Internet troll decided to be spicy “And Supamega made it Last year .. And he was the only African rapper on the list,” the tweep replied.

Following in the footsteps of Boity and Khanyi, who served some major clap backs of their own this week, Cassper decided to let the trolls know what he thought about their shady comments.
He clarified a few things about his nomination and that it is big news for him.
“Not to burst your bubble or anything but I just wanna put things into perspective. This is best international act and not best international Africa. It’s also the first time it will be presented on the main stage. Just so that re sa ba confusednyana. IT IS NOT THE SAME THING,” he tweeted.
