Zahara praised for gifting wheelchair to woman in need
Zahara helped a paralysed woman get a new wheelchair after hearing about her plight on the radio.
The woman shared her story about being bedridden, on a local radio station, and the Loliwe hitmaker stepped in to help.
“A few weeks ago, I was driving back home when I heard Mama Miriam Olga Mabetoa’s story on Lesedi FM. She was paralyzed in 2013, since then she hasn’t been able to move out of her bed,” she wrote on Twitter.
Zahara visited the woman’s home this week to surprise her with a new wheelchair.
She shared a video from the visit, which showed the grateful woman hugging Zahara.

Zahara’s fans applauded her for helping Mama Miriam.
“Thank u for hearing her cry and being the first to extend a helping hand… God bless you,” one Twitter user wrote.

One fan asked Zahara if the woman was receiving physiotherapy.
“I’m on it,” she replied.
