Chicco Twala on manhunt for Twitter user behind Meyiwa ‘murder cover up’ claims
The Twitter user behind the account stands by his allegations. He claims Kelly Khumalo and other witnesses know exactly who the shooter is but they are scared to death.

Legendary musician and producer Sello “Chicco” Twala has reportedly launched a manhunt for the man behind the parody Twitter account Man’s Not Barry Roux (@AdvBarryRoux), who has accused him of trying to cover up what really happened on the day the late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa, was murdered.
Meyiwa was shot dead in an alleged house robbery in Vosloorus on October 26 2014.
The Sunday World reports that Twala has hired a team of forensic social media experts to expose the real account holder and report him to police for defaming him and his son Longwe of being involved in the murder.
Earlier this month, @AdvBarryRoux caused frenzy on Twitter after tweeting about the so-called “information” about the case and alleged that Longwe fatally shot Senzo using his father’s gun after an argument over his then girlfriend Zandi Khumalo.
Twala and his son have both publicly denied the allegations.
The Man’s Not Barry Roux Twitter account user also accused Twala of bribing all the witnesses to withhold information from police. Former Gauteng Hawks boss General Shadrack Sibiya denied in a Sunday Independent report today that he took a R1 million bribe from Twala to protect his son.
Taking to Twitter this morning, @AdvBarryRoux stood by his claims and accused Twala and his son of lying to the public. He also accused Sibiya of being corrupt and working with criminals.
“Chicco Twala and his son Longwe Twala are connected and dangerous, I am aware that Chicco Twala is looking for me & he’s knee on getting me arrested. For the What? [sic]”, he tweeted.
