The riveting season 3 of Umlilo is in full swing and is searching for a younger Cebisile and Mnqobi look alike to join the dynamic cast.
E.tv and Quizzical Pictures are giving two South African viewers an opportunity to be part of Umlilo. The two candidates must be Zulu speaking male and female, between the ages of 18 and 30 and bear strong resemblance to the characters Mnqobi and Cebisile Simelane. Entries are now open and will close at midnight on Saturday (May21). The successful candidates will be expected to portray the roles of the younger polygamist Mnqobi and his deceased wife, Cebisile in season 4.
Hopeful fans that look like the talented duo and meet the language and age criteria can enter the competition by uploading a picture of themselves to Umlilo’s casting page and filling in the required form. Acting ability will be considered for the finalist.
“Umlilo, currently in its 3rd season has had a successful run on the channel and created conversations across Mzansi. The drama won the SAFTA award for Best drama in 2015 and 2016,” explains Acting MD at e.tv Channels Division, Marlon Davids.
