Breastfeeding is one of the most special expressions of love any mother can express to their child. Until it isn’t.

At some point, there is absolutely nothing cute about your nipples being pulled with teeth. There isn’t anything cute about your boob being involuntarily pulled out from your shirt in public by a demanding little human.

“I’m done. Finish.”

This is the opening remark of choreographer Takkies’ breastfeeding video that she recently shared on her Youtube channel.

Takkies stopped her breastfeeding journey when her child, Sana, was 22 months old. She wanted to wean her off when she was two years old. But, as she said: she was finished!

The process was quite a seamless one for her. It took her two days to wean her off. She used ways like the good old distraction tactic and spending more time with daddy, who doesn’t have boobs, so Sana couldn’t ask him.

She also shares some tips that some of her followers shared with her:

  • Frozen cabbage
  • Chilli
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Aloe vera
  • Leaving the baby with the grandparents for a few days
