Twitter blasts ‘abusive’ Euphonik and ‘snake’ Somizi

Bonang Matheba’s ex-boyfriend Themba ‘Euphonik’ Nkosi found himself on the wrong side of Twitter on Monday morning after an interview with Siyabonga Ngwekazi on Vuzu TV’s The Cover.

Among other things, Euphonik talked about the numerous properties he owned and his ex-girlfriend.

On Bonang, Euphonik said if he wanted her back, he would drive to her home and tell her to stop “this nonsense”.

“You cannot date someone for seven years and not know how to get them back,” he said.

These comments landed Euphonik on the Twitter trends list, with Ntsiki Mazwai, among others, saying the comments were proof that he was indeed an abuser. Mazwai also slammed women who “praised” Euphonik, further saying the reason they “ganged up” against Bonang was jealous.

“Amazing how women will allow another woman to be abused just coz they r jealous of her…..shame girls no wonder god cant bless u,” Mazwai tweeted.

She slammed Euphonik for badmouthing his ex-girlfriend, saying he should have chosen to talk about something else.

“For those of you in the dark…if an interviewer asks you something u don’t wanna talk about….u CAN make that clear. Kahle Nje.”

Though she has said before she is not a fan of Bonang, Mazwai said she was always on the side of any woman being ganged up against, “because an injury to one is an injury to all”.

Euphonik also revealed in the interview that he owned 41 properties, further saying he aspired to be a billionaire. He added if he were to be a billionaire, he would help young black entrepreneurs start successful businesses, comments that “inspired” Bonang’s ex-bestfriend Somizi Mhlongo.

“@Euphonik like him or hate him. U can’t deny how well he’s done for himself. 41 properties. If that’s not inspiration? Angazi @thecover,” Somizi tweeted on Monday night.

Most on Twitter were shocked by Somizi’s comment, questioning why he was ‘taking Euphonik’s side’ and calling him a snake.

Somizi and Bonang were best friends before the much-publicised AKA and DJ Zinhle split. The friendship, however, ended when Bonang assumed it was Somizi who told DJ Zinhle about her relationship with AKA, allegations Somizi denied on his reality TV show Living The Dream With Somizi.

These were some of the comments on Twitter:
