Toya Delazy to perform with her UK band in Bassline

Toya Delazy moves away from her pop star status and is set to perform with her UK band in Bassline today, November 4.

The multi-award winning South African artist has had rave reviews from her unprecedented Rocking The City Africa tour that saw her present her new more mature and sophisticated sound with her full live band from the UK in cities such as Lusaka, Windhoek, Zanzibar, Harare and, the previous Sunday, in Nairobi alongside Kenyan superstar Octopizzo before coming home and having her penultimate show in Johannesburg and final show in Cape Town on November 11.

Unapologetic about her new sound, it has taken Toya Delazy a year to build up her new show to the international level that it is now.

Without the pressure to conform to what people know Toya Delazy to be and being a faceless person in the UK, Toya Delazy has been able to push her own boundaries and focus on the art form of her music, where she accepts herself and doesn’t try imitating anyone else.
