Time to upgrade: WhatsApp will stop working on these 49 phones
WhatsApp will cease functioning on these phones, including two iPhones and several older Android smartphones. Find out if your device is on the list.

WhatsApp frequently updates its messaging app, and occasionally, older devices can no longer keep pace with the latest features.
As a result, the popular messaging platform will cease functioning on 49 devices, starting form 31 December.
WhatsApp leaving older phones
Among the devices losing support are two iPhone models and numerous older Android smartphones. While these devices date back a few years, many users may still be using them.
Unfortunately, after 31 December, WhatsApp will no longer be available on these devices.
