Titanfall not coming to PS4, ever

The news comes via EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, who confirmed during an investor call last night that the mech-powered man-shooter would be exclusive to those platforms “for the life of the title.”

That doesn’t rule out the inevitable sequel landing on Sony’s console, however, and developer Respawn Entertainment’s own Vince Zampella has already vaguely suggested that it might. Responding to fans on Twitter asking if the studio would be making any games for PS4, Zampella said “Of course we will, just not the first Titanfall.”

In the meantime, Titanfall is Respawn Entertainment’s first and only game announced for now, and it’s out on 13 March 2014.
