Samsung unveils new Galaxy S23 FE, Tab S9 FE, and Buds FE

Samsung has announced the latest edition of its FE devices to the Galaxy ecosystem – the new Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+, and Galaxy Buds FE.

TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics said the new FE devices feature premium capabilities.

The S23 available from R17,999 stays true to the S series design with its floating camera and IP68 water and dust resistance.

With more people taking photos with their smartphones, the FE has a 50MP high-resolution lens, and 3X optical zoom.

Battery life has become a critical feature in any smartphone especially with busy lifestyles and not enough time for charging devices.

The Galaxy FE23’s 4,500mAh battery intuitively adjusts to conserve energy, charging up to 50% in just 30 minutes with a 25W charger.

All this power comes to life on a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

The Galaxy S23 FE series is available in Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple Indigo and Tangerine.

Galaxy Tab

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ with large screen viewing, IP68 durability, and S Pen Boost possibilities.

The Galaxy Tab S series is ideal for digital creators, entrepreneurs, busy students, artists, gamers with the S9 FE’s 10.9-inch and Tab S9 FE+’s 12.4-inch displays.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is available in Gray from R10,999.

Galaxy buds

There is always a need for wireless buds and the Galaxy Buds FE offers deep and rich sound with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Sound.

It provides up to 8.5 hours of playback with earbuds, and total up to 30 hours including the charging case.  Even when using ANC, users can get up to 6 hours of playback with earbuds, and total up to 21 hours including the case.

Galaxy Buds FE are available for R1,999 in two distinct colours: Graphite and White.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series are designed to last with four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

Smart tags

And finally, if you are prone to losing stuff, Samsung announced the Galaxy SmartTag2 with enhancements that enable new ways to keep track of valuables. Upgrades to the design and usability create even more use cases for the device than ever before.

Galaxy SmartTag2 now provides an improved Compass View feature while the SmartThings Find App has also been upgraded, with newly registered Galaxy SmartTags that now installs a shortcut to the App on the user’s smartphone.
