New app will help you to find graves

However, first you may have trouble finding the app.

A company called Captive Insight says it now offers an app that helps people locate graves easier, “without the hassle of getting lost and constantly asking for directions or grave maps in cemeteries”.

They claim it’s a world first.

The app is apparently called ZIST Grave Locator.

“The app features the main function of finding graves in cemeteries. It also offers the user an option of capturing the grave themselves in cemeteries with ease on the app. The user is also able to share the location of the grave with relatives or friends,” according to Motsepe Motsegoa wa kwa Ncobela.

Other features include memorial, funeral, unveiling and after tears notices.

“Through directory services the user is able to remotely organise a funeral without having to physically run around, This is due to the directory services on the app, with a list of funeral service providers around the country, from rural to urban, from grave closers to funeral undertakers.”

The Citizen was, however, unable to find the app to download it.
